It looks like an amazing device, but I am still going to remain devoted to my E71. I must admit that the changes in the interface for S60 3rd edition with feature pack 2 are quite good along with the addition of a 5mpxl camera and a 3.5mm headset jack. However, I hope it is safe to assume that the frame rate of any video footage captured by the E72 is at 30 frames per second.
Despite the upgraded aspects of this model, the limitation of the screen still causes me to want to stay with my E71. Another concern could be with the optical navigation in the central d-pad.
Honestly, this is not much of a revolutionary change from the E71 like the N97.

Nokia E72 - an introduction

I'm with you on this one Trent. I'll not be trading my E71 in for this. Pixel count is nothing to me but the screen is. No screen upgrade means no purchase for me i'm afraid. The screen, along with the 2.5mm jack on the E71 are its only downfalls. I'm a blackberry hater but seeing the screen on the bold compared to that on my E71 left me a little cold. Coupled with my growing boredom of S60 3rd edition is pushing me towards 5th edition or Android. I'll buy a 5800 I think and run it until its next incarnation comes out or until i'm dies my upgrade in January in which case i'll be looking at the HTC Magic or whatever Nokia's flagship is at that time.
totally agree with you
