I have been steadfast since October with my last firmware update. Even though my old firmware was fine I was ready for what lied ahead. I also updated the Nokia Email at the same time. So far Everything is Ok. I like the new Email update, especially now that I can have my Hotmail pushed to me.<BR/>The only drawback with upgrading firmware(that I knew going into this) is that there is No more MSN messenger via Download!<BR/>I heard some reports of battery life being reduced and have also noticed some abnormal drainage. I know my E71 like the back of my hand and can usually how my battery is doing without even looking. I'm still testing this new firmware but so far I like it. <BR/>My camera images are even a little clearer..<BR/>I too, had an episode with the newest Nokia Email update. I simply restarted the phone and it started working again. Another weird thing that I can point out is that my email alert tone quite working.(?) It was still there and all but just wouldn't make a sound when any email was downloaded. I tested this many times and even switched profiles. Again it was fixed by restarting the device. I don't know if it was because of the new firmware or the new Nokia Mail update??
